Antique French Binoculars Colmont Paris in leather case

These antique French Binoculars in their original leather case were made by the famous manufacturer Colmont in Paris. Colmont was a manufacturer of high quality opera glasses and binoculars in the late 1800’s. The binoculars I have here for sale are marked with the initials of its owner, M G. They are also marked on the rims with Colmont Paris as well as inside the lid of the leather case – on the velvet lining – the name and details of Colmont Paris are mentioned. These binoculars are in great working order although the center wheel – which adjusts the focus – is a little stiff at one particular point in turning it, but it does turn and it does focus properly. Size as follows: height 14 / 16cm x w 12.5 cm, the leather case (which shows its age but still gorgeous) measures w 15 x h 15.5 x d 8.5 cm. It weighs 995 grms.
