Antique French Comtoise Clock surround set/2

These are antique surrounds that would have been around a French Comtoise clock. French Comtoise clocks (see one of the images) are always very richly decorated and also have a large and very striking embossed pendulum. These two surrounds I have for sale are also very embossed and beauitfully decorated with scenes of life in the 1800’s. They are made from thin metal and can be polished to a shiny gold if you want to. I have not touched them in case you like them as they are. They will look great on any wall, for instance if there is wall paper behind it, or a sheet of vintage music or a vintage document…. Let your creativity speak! Sizes as follows: 25 x 38 x dia 21.5 and 26 x 38 x dia 21.5. The set weighs 162 grms. They are fragile so as usual we will make sure that they are well protected when we post them.
