Antique French Prayer Book Leather and Silver

This beautiful Antique French Prayer Book is made from dark Red leather with gilded pages and is adorned with embossed Silver clips. This particular Prayer Book is especially made for someone and has on the inside – on its red silk cladded pages – the initials V B embossed in gold leaf as well as the date of the Book’s creation 24 April 1883. This would not have been cheap so this Prayer Book was made for someone with some wealth. It has not been used much at all and is in fantastic condition. The size is 11.5 x 14.5 x 3.5cm and it weighs 508 grms. Postage from France included. I have quite a collection myself and have them displayed on stacks of old books.
