Antique Russian Orthodox Icon H 28 cm

This Icon shows Virgin Mary, the healer. The icon dates back to the 19th century and is made from richly embossed oklad in a vibrant rich gold with stunning adornments. I have not been able to find out the meaning of the written script at the bottom. The size of this truly extraordinairy and unique piece is w 22.4 x d 28 x 2 cm. It weighs 664 grms.
