Boulanger 63 pce Cutlery Set Regence/Berry

This exquisite French Boulenger Orfèvre – Silversmith Cutlery Set consists of 63 Pieces which have hardly ever been used as all are in exceptional – as new – condition. This set is of superior quality Silver plate (Hallmarked 100) and this particular motif is called Regence / Berry with an Art Deco style design. Boulenger is a well known French silversmith, renowned for its exceptional craftsmanship. The set is made of very high-quality Silver plated metal, with a 100g hallmark, guaranteeing a particularly robust and durable silver plating.
The service consists of the following pieces: 12 Dinner knives L 25cm, 12 Dinner forks L 21 cm, 12 Dinner spoons L 21, 12 Tea or Dessert spoons L 14cm, 12 Cake forks L 15cm, one Ladle L 33cm, one Cake server L 27.5 cm and one Sugar tongs L 13cm. All are beautifully adorned with a very stylish pattern on both sides. This set will remain in the family for many generations. The complete set of 63 pieces weighs a whopping 4618 grms, close to 5 kg. Which means that after packaging the set will be in 10kg box. Postage from France included.

In the 19th century and at the turn of the century, Boulenger was one of the foremost silversmiths in Paris. The company was founded in 1810 by M. Boulenger-Hautin, and in its first decades went through life as the Orfevrerie Hautin. When his cousin Adolphe Boulenger took over the company in 1864, the name changed to A. Boulenger & Cie. From their establishment at 4 rue de Vert-Bois in Paris, the company made a name for itself as an Orfèvre of repute. They were awarded for its exceptional craftmanship and stand out quality at fairs and exhibitions, including in Paris 1925, Cairo in 1929, and Antwerp in 1930.
