This striking XL Champagne bottle is a factice or dummy bottle. A factice is an unfilled sealed display piece commonly used in wine cellars, restaurants and home bar displays. It is designed strictly for decorative purposes and does not contain any liquid. This factice for sale in my shop is made for the French Champagne house Perrier-Jouët*. It is a 3 liter factice measuring dia 13 x h 50cm! It is made from thick green glass exactly as per a normal Champagne bottle would be. It is therefore heavy at 2888 grms, close to 3 kgs.
