French Antique Missel / Prayer Book Bakelite

This exquisite Antique French Missel, Prayer Book is made from ivory coloured bakelite and dates back to the 1880’s. It has gold rimmed pages which look beautiful when the missel is closed and it has a beautiful gold coloured decorated clasp to lock the missel. It is in fantastic condition, the previous owner must have cherished it so well considering this missel is over 140 years old. The front of the missel shows a stunning embossed bouquet of corn adorned with a rim of flowers. The missel measures w 8 x d 10.8 x h 2.6 cm and it weighs 177 grms. Postage from France included.
