French Christofle Money Clip

This is a Money clip from the French house of Christofle, famous for its luxury Silverware and Tableware. The company was founded in 1830 in Paris by Charles Christofle and has collectors worlwide. This Money clip has a 5cm coin on the front depicting Charles Christofle, the founder of the company. On the coin it also states ‘Orvevre à Paris’ – ‘Goldsmith in Paris’ and the period 1805 – 1863. The clip comes in its original box which shows its age but the clip itself is in mint condition. Size of the coin is 5cm and the total dia with ring is 5.8cm. The item weight is 42 grms whereas the boxed weight is 55 grms. What a grand gift from France for a gentleman. Postage included.
