Ladies Bust – Pedro Rigual H 44cm

This gorgeous Bust of a lady is made – and signed on the back – by Spanish sculptor Pedro Rigual. Pedro Ramón José Rigual was born in Barcelona in 1863 and died in Paris in 1917. During his lifetime Pedro created Busts and Figurines working with bronze, marble and spelter bronze. This Bust is made from spelter bronze which is an alloy of metal combined with other elements to look like bronze. This lady is so very beautiful and detailed. I particularly love her hair which is pinned up high and adorned with roses. Her dress is for a fine lady being adorned with roses and ribbon. Her face is content and beautiful, she is a real Pedro Rigual girl! Size as follows: w 28 x d 13 x h 44cm. She is heavy and weighs 4728 grms. This is a true collectors item.
