Silver plated Ercuis Cutlery 12 persons 38 pieces

This exquisite set of vintage Silver plated French Cutlery is from the famous maker ERCUIS and stamped as such. The set is lovely and clean lined on the front. On the back however it is a different matter. Gorgeous embossed roses surround a medallion with the engraving of the letters M J or J M. The box / coffre of a cutlery set says a lot as well. This box shows its age for sure, the set is antique after all. But this box has brass locks and a brass handle, a box made for an unusually beautiful set, that’s for sure. The cutlery pieces are in fantastic condition and the set consists of the following: 12 Dinner spoons L 21 cm, 12 Dinner forks L 21 cm, 12 small spoons L 14.5 cm, one Ladle L 31 cm and a Sugar tongs L 14 cm, all in all 38 pieces. The total weight is 3763 grms. The size of the box / coffre is w 42 x d 29 x h 8 cm. Postage from France included.
