Vintage French 11 persons / 22 piece Cutlery set

This set of vintage French Silver plated Cutlery is from the French maker Boulenger. It is very nicely decorated on both sides with ribbons and bows. The set consists of 11 Forks and 11 Spoons, all 21.5 cm long. The set of 22 weighs 1651 grms. I have in my shop various knife sets that would complement this cutlery set beautifully. Why are knives not included in vintage French cutlery sets? 2 Reasons, superstition, to gift knives means bad luck and also French knives are usually made in the town of Thiers which is not where cutlery is made so the process was to dear to make a complete set in the old days.
