Vintage French Drum w/sticks

This fantastic Drum I found at a Brocante market here in southern France. The Drum is made from Copper sheeting with wooden rims which are held together – as usual with Drums – with rope and leather wraps. The sound of this Drum is lovely and deep and the small tear does not effect the play or sound at all. The sticks are wood with a copper end. The Drum has a dia of 36 x h 25cm, the Sticks are 37cm long and the total weight is 2300 grms. What a lovely item to play or to use as décor. Postage from France included.
