Vintage French Serviettes s/6 monogrammed L B

This gorgeous set of 6 vintage French Serviettes / Napkins are made from white cotton and each Napkin is beautifully monogrammed by hand with the letters L B set in a decorative frame. Size as usual with vintage French Serviettes is a very generous 82 x 86cm each. Table and bed linens were very special in the old days. It was never ever thrown out if damaged, rather it would be repaired – entirely by hand – so it could go into the next generation in the family. This set has one such repair on one of the Napkins and I love it! It means these were special and the repair has character, at least that is how I feel! The set/6 weighs 630 grms.
