Vintage Pewter Pipe Tray

This is a vintage Pewter Pipe Tray. This tray is used to rest the pipe. In the middle of the tray is a wooden ball which is used to empty the pipe by turning it upside down and knock the pipe onto the ball. The bottom the Pipe tray it is marked Dunhill Paris and it is made in England, so this is interesting. Size as follows: dia 16 x h 5cm. The Pipe rest is 8 cm. The weight is 737 grms. A lovely vintage gift from France for someone who smokes a pipe or use it as decor and place with vintage books for instance. Postage from France included.
