Vintage Scarf Hermès 90 x 90cm

This gorgeous colourful vintage Carré Scarf is from the house of Hermès. It was designed for Hermès by Joachim Metz in 1985 and it is called Les Sangles – The Straps. The size is 90 x 90cm. Unfortunately there are some spots with discoloration on the scarf rim, see photos. Therefore the price is lower then normal, but it still is a grand piece. Postage from France included.

The story behind the design Les Sangles:
Inspired by the straps – les sangles – that are placed on the horse’s back to keep the blankets in place during the colder weather.
