Christofle Fish cutlery 12 persons / 26 pieces

This beautiful set of vintage French Fish Cutlery is for 12 persons and consists of 26 pieces. It is marked Christofle and all pieces are Silver plated. This Fish cutlery has a nicely clean lined shape and all pieces are monogrammed on the back with the letters L C or C C, it can be both in my opinion. The set consists of the following pieces: 12 Fish forks, L 18.5 cm, 12 Fish knives, L 21 cm as well as a Fish serving set consisting of the serving Knife L 28 cm and the serving Fork L 21 cm. The set of 26 pieces weighs 1255 grms. Postage from France included.

Christofle is a French silverware and tableware company founded in Paris in 1830 by Charles Christofle. The company is known for its high end collections. Christofle supplied King Louis-Philippe, who in 1846 ordered a dinner service for the Château d’Eu. The company became famous after Emperor Napoleon III ordered a 4,000-piece service.
