Christofle Tastevin Silver plated

A Tastevin is a relatively small, shallow cup with a thumb-handle, which was traditionally (and for some still) used by winemakers and négociants when judging the maturity, quality, clarity and taste of a wine. (Typically from the barrel in the cellar). This Tastevin cup is made by the famous French house of Christofle and is silver plated. It has a raised design so that the appearance and colour of the wines, especially the reds, can be appreciated and the concavities bring out the ruby-red reflections.
