French Carafe St. Clément H 33cm

This beautiful earthenware Carafe is made by St. Clément in France. The factory of Saint-Clément was established in 1758 by Jacques Chambrette, who already owned another factory. With this second factory he aimed at the higher segment of the market with prestigious objects. The factory received – because of this – a label as Royal Supplier for Marie-Antoinette. This gorgeous Carafe of a Duck is exquisitely made with amazing colours and detail. It is 33 cm high and its widest width is 11 cm. It is stamped and numbered St. Clement France on the bottom.
