French Prayer Book with Silver locks Antique

This magnificent French Prayer Book is an Antique from 1884. This Prayer Book belonged to an affluential person obviously. It has been beautifully made from rich Brown leather, with large Silver scrolled locks on both sides of the Prayer book and it is monogrammed inside with gold leaf with the initials A D and the date 26 Janvier (January) 1884. The Prayer Book has gold edged leaves and sits in its original box with also has the initials A D on it. The box shows its age, but that is normal for something dating back 138 years. The Prayer Book itself is in perfect condition and was well cherished and looked after. Size of the Book 13 x 16 x h 3.2cm, size of the box is 17.5 x 14 x h 4.5cm. The weight is 825 grms.
