This lovely French Tastevin belonged to a member of the Confrerie des Coteaux du Lyonnais, a Brotherhood founded in 1984. The Brotherhood was created to promote the appellation Coteaux du Lyon, promoting events and the induction of new members. This Tastevin comes with its original cord and has a dia of 8.5 x h 2cm. It weighs 78 grms. Postage from France included. Please note that I have not polished the item as not every customer likes that but I can do so if you wish.

What is a Tastevin?
A historic tool used in wine making and wine tasting, the Tastevin is a small, metal cup or saucer. The cup has traditionally been used to assess the color, clarity, and maturity of wine. In ancient times, without the advent of modern lighting, a special shallow cup was required to accurately view and judge wine.
