Hermès Silver Marine Knot Cufflinks

This is an exquisite pair of 925 Silver Cufflinks from the French house of Hermès. In their original box, they were never worn I have been told. This style of Cufflinks is called the ‘Marine Knot’ or ‘Noeuds Marins’. The shape is the knot on a corded rope and this style was designed for Hermès by Georges L’Enfant in the 1980’s. Made from 925 Silver, each Cufflink is stamped Hermès, plus the Georges L’Enfant ‘GL’ cartouche. They are presented in their original Hermès orange box, lined with brown leatherette with the address of Hermès, 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris inside the lid. L of each Cufflink is 2.3cm. The set (w/out the box) weighs 14 grms. A classic Georges L’Enfant / Hermès design in mint condition. Postage from France included. What a splendid gift for a fantastic price!
