Vintage Monastery Doorbell bronze w/chain

This heavy and very decorative Doorbell with chain is made from Bronze. The bell is adorned with an embossed theme and hangs from a decorative wall bracket. These type of bells were often found at the entrance gate of a Monastery. The bell has a dia of 12 x h 19 cm, the chain is 33 cm long and the entire height of the item with chain is 40 cm. The bell has a gorgeous deep sound when rung and it will be a feature at any front door for some French flair. It weighs 1486 grms. Another unique item from the Antique / Brocante markets in France.
